We currently have a position for a general assistant to help around the farm and the vegetable wholesalers. The duties would include helping the farmer with day to day running of the farm, (veg not animals) general yard work and helping with packing loading on the wholesale side of things. The work will involve a lot of manual work so you must be fit and active. As this will involve using some farm equipment you must be over 18 years old. The hourly rate is ?6 and will be around 20 hours a week. We have another position available which you could be done as one full time position. The second position we is for an evening vegetable preparation assistant to work in our vegetable wholesaler 3 nights a week. The hours are around 20 a week split over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, the start time is flexible between 5pm and midnight so this could fit around another job. The duties will include the use of a vegetable peeler/rumbler and chopping and packaging of the vegetable products. You must be over 18 for this position, full training is given. The hourly wage is ?6. Please be aware that as we are situated on the A617 at Kirklington, between Newark and Mansfield, that own transport is essential.
