One of the UK?s oldest construction and property consultancies are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join their team in Exeter office Role The successful PQS / Quantity Surveyor candidate will work on a range of projects including PFI, Commercial, Local Authority, Social Housing, MOD and other various Commercial projects across the South Devon area. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be familiar with all aspects of building contract administration on traditional and Design & Build projects. You will understand the needs of our client and offer cost management advice, ensuring projects are delivered within budget. Opportunities exist for enthusiastic, forward thinking individuals. Requirements *Degree in Quantity Surveying would be preferable *Ideally MRICS *Experience of working within a professional practice or consultancy *Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative *Team Player Responsibilities *Prepare cost plans and Bills of Quantity *Negotiate and settle final accounts *Cost Planning and audit *Tender Documents Salary Dependant on experience and background - Above Industry Average
