Acorn Overseas Worthwhile volunteering projects in Thailand Are you ready for that lifechanging experience About Us Acorn overseas is a Non-Profit making organisation and we will arrange your volunteer trip for you. Whether you are looking for a 2-week get away or a 1-year trip, what better way to see beautiful Thailand than to volunteer here? Acorn overseas was formed when we had 6 final year students from the Acorn School in England come over to volunteer. We arranged everything for them, and one evening while holding a group meeting we came up with the idea of Acorn Overseas. The Acorn School students were so happy with everything we had arranged they though we should do it for everyone. So here we are and we hope you enjoy your experience as much as those first volunteers did. Our Aims To bring people all over the world to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves, and bring volunteers to those most in need. Project Updates: We have some very exciting new projects based on Koh Phi Phi, one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. Here are the details; we look forward to hearing from you. ? Teaching- Bringing better education to Phi Phi by teaching in their local school. ? Conservation- Beach clearing and saving the coral reefs destroyed by the tsunami. ? Rescue team- Become part of Koh Phi Phi rescue team and be on call for any emergencies that happen during your stay, and you will also be teaching while you are not responding to emergencies. (Participating on all the Phi Phi based projects, you will have a chance to stay with the locals and experience a real Thai way of life.
