PURPOSE: ?To ensure the administration is processed efficiently and customers are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner ?Plan & organise own work efforts ?Contributing to branch exceeding Key Performance indicators & meeting business objectives PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Issuing cover notes 2. Providing customers with quotations and general personal lines insurance advice 3.Distributing and dealing with company and customer post 4.Serving at the counter 5.Understanding of diary to monitor all outstanding entries 6.Answering the telephone 7.Achievement of personal Key Performance Indicators 8.End of day/month procedures 9.Competent in the understanding & workings of the Policies & Procedures guide 10.Banking as per the Finance Procedures Manual NATURE AND SCOPE: ?To provide, as part of a team, a high level of service to customers ?To ensure that contact with insurers, either verbally or in writing, is accurate and well presented ?To ensure compliance with group policies, procedures and current legislations KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: A willingness to learn and an ability to work well as part of a team An effective communicator with an ability to communicate face to face and over the telephone An ability to record information and process administration accurately The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines Results driven Positive attitude Understanding of individual targets To apply for this position please contact Alison at Onshore Recruitment on 01202 675102 or e-mail alison@onshorerecruitment.co.uk
