Sigmer Technologies provides bespoke and packaged software applications and IT solutions to the corporate, charity and public sectors. Our clients include British Sky Broadcasting, The International Save the Children Alliance, British Film Institute, Scottish and Newcastle U.K. and United Nations organisations. The Company was founded in 1999 and is based in The Sussex Innovation Centre at the University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton where the majority of our 30 staff are located. About the role: Due to the launch of our exciting new enterprise software application we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to generate appointments for our internal sales-team. Working mainly on the telephone, the role will involve cold-calling targeted leads to generate appointments for our sales-staff. An important part of the role is to manage campaigns, analyse industry sectors and research targets. The position is being offered as office based or home-based and we are willing to be flexible as regards working hours for the right candidate. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate good verbal communication and sales-skills, attention to detail and the ability to understand and explain complex service offerings. However, possessing a high level of self-confidence, taking the initiative and having a confident, outgoing personality are of equal importance. The ability to understand and provide feedback from call-outcomes is important and we are looking for someone who can work within our team environment to help us to refine our sales approach, messages and collateral. Experience of working in a sales environment is essential. Knowledge of IT solutions and B2B sales are desirable.
