We are 2 ladies, well one of us is, we plan to arrive in London 18th August and explore Britian until 18 Sept and have a 1922 recently renovated one bedroom flat with a fold down double bed in lounge. It is in Elizabeth Bay which adjoins Potts Point, the best suburb of inner Sydney, with a host of shops and restaurants for those special nights out. Potts Point is accessible to all things - the city, harbour, harbour bridge, Botanical Gardens and many bars, nightclubs and cafes. It's a great central location to start and finish your night. While you're there, check out the surrounding suburbs of Woolloomooloo Bay and Rushcutters Bay. Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay are at the tranquil lower end of Kings Cross and offers some fine examples of colonial and art deco architecture such as Elizabeth Bay House, Rockwall House and Tusculum House. Best of all you can walk to everything. Most of Sydney's best restaurants are very close. The central CBD is a 20 minute walk. Circular Quay ferry terminal and the Sydney Opera House is a 25 minute walk. You can walk to either the historic Rocks area, or Darling Harbour, in 30 minutes. The NSW Art Gallery and the Botanical Gardens are just 10 minutes away. The Sydney Explorer bus and the local bus both stop over the road in nearby Macleay St. Kings Cross train station is a 10 minute walk.
