My client is a well established telecommunications provider, specialising in VoIP convergence and telephony solutions. Due to expansion we are looking to recruit a Nortel Technical Support Executive / Presales Support Engineer / Solutions Architect to add to a dynamic business support team, specialising in the Nortel telecoms range. The role is to provide support to a large business development department in providing technical knowledge (specialising In Nortel) and consultation to large business clients, supporting a sales and tender team. The successful candidate will be creating telecoms solution designs based on requirements, supporting sales with design presentations, assisting the bid teams with preparation of tenders. Suitable candidates will come from a technical sales support background with a solid knowledge base in VoIP / telecoms including: ? Nortel Meridian M1 range, CS1000 and BCM range ? VoIP, IP Centrex ? Voice and data convergence ? WAN, VPN, firewalls and QoS routers ? Understanding of the OSI model You will have experience and a proven track record within the telecoms industry specialising in convergent technologies. Suitable candidates must have client facing experience, with excellent communication skills and immaculate presentation.
