I am recruiting a creative, free spirited Network Engineer with a passion for technology to join the most innovative social networking company in the world. This is a varied role in which you would be responsible for the design of their next-generation network. There are a number of core responsibities, such as building routers with well-documented and verifiable configurations, respond to system failures, working closely with development and QA to validate network designs, and assit the Systems Engineers and members of the IT team. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of global IP routing, including multi-gigabit systems, experience with multiple equipment vendors, worked with multiple international providers, skilled with Linux and associated software and tools and scripting and tool development skills. A Batchelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent is desired alongside the desire to work in a collaborative environment and has a passion to work on really interesting problems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a relaxed environment in an exciting multimillion pound global organisation.
