Our client is currently providing a comprehensive range of Telecoms and Civils activities, throughout the UK, on BT Openreach''s External Network and is looking to recruit up to 20, 2 or 3 man Poling teams as part of their Asset Assurance Programme (AAP) operations throughout North, South & Mid Wales. The primary purpose of the role will be to maintain the H&S integrity of BT Openreach?s OH network in ensuring that, as part of the AAP, minimum ?drop wire? heights are maintained across the network. This work will principally include: ? DP Renewal ? Carrier Pole Erection ? Pole Renewal ? D.Pole Recovery It goes without saying that you ? and if applicable ? all members of your gang will need to hold current BT Openreach External Network & minimum NRSWA Accreditation and, as a minimum, be qualified to drive 7.5 Tonne vehicles. Particular interest will be paid to individuals who also posses HGV licences to drive the heavy-duty 12 Tonne Pole Erection Units (PEU). The work will be carried out to agreed quality standards and fully in accordance with Health & Safety Requirements of the Contract. All work will be issued by way of template work packages and with the current schedule of over 2,500 active jobs (within well-defined and adjacent locations) the opportunity to earn up to ?1,000 per week is truly realistic for individuals with the right mind set and commitment and who can cope with the need for flexibility in managing the multiple ?stop/start? nature of these activities. Knowledge & experience of the following is required: ? Pole planting, renewal & recovery ? Overhead construction ? Dropwire termination ? Aerial cabling ? Live change over jointing ? Tone kits ? Safe Digging We are interested in hearing from self contained and established teams or indeed individual singletons looking to be teamed up.
