Under the supervision of the HSQE Manager, the associate will test and inspect products, compile and evaluate statistical data to determine, and maintain quality and reliability. Employer: Glass Systems Ltd. Glass Systems Ltd was established in 1988, they supply a whole range of customers in the domestic, commercial, new build and local authority sectors of the industry, throughout South Wales and the southern half of England. Based at: Swansea Vale Business Park Job Role: Main Duties and Responsibilities  Perform periodic tests on production lines, will be required to inspect materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material defects.  Record the data into computer systems, applying statistical quality control procedures.  Recommend and plan modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within the limits of the equipment capability.  Document complaint information and customer return reviews.  Investigate complaints with the ultimate aim to reduce overall number of complaints and returns on a daily basis.  Ensure training records and supporting documentation is up to date.  Routinely perform housekeeping activities in the quality control area.  Routinely verify the accuracy and calibration status of equipment. Personal Specification: The ideal candidate will be innovative, knowledgeable and intensely committed to ensure that every product we supply conforms to quality system requirements as well as BS EN 1279 standards. Education and Experience: The ideal candidate will have an IQA Diploma in Quality or be working towards the Diploma. Degree background is desirable. Experience of working in a previous quality role is essential.
